If you install the stock seat (850mm on the GS) you'll have a seat height of about 870mm, since you have an extra 20mm from suspension travel. For example my Rallye has the sport suspension (read: the GSA suspension) and was originally 870mm, with the low seat it's back to the standard 850mm. Along with the factory lowering kits for the R1250 and F850 GS models, BMW also sells the F750 GS, with lower ride height than the 850, although very similar. This can be combined with an Extra Low accessory saddle for a seat height of 30.7 inches. Triumph also offers Low versions of several of some Scrambler and Tiger models from the factory. GS Low seat is about 1" lower then the standard seat set on the lowest position; GS Standard seat has a low/hi setting (most run high on the front low on the rear to keep from being a nut squishier). 2. Buy a 2013 F800GS with the factory lowered suspension (together with the low seat it all comes to 82cm seat height). However, that might turn out not to be enough reduction, as with the standard bike and the low seat it comes to 85cm and it didn't really seem that 3cm would solve the problem.
The seat height indicated in the table above is the lowest seat height without adding an optional extra or a lowering kit to the bike. The BMW R 1250 GS, for instance, has seat heights ranging from 31.5 inches with OE lowered suspension to 34.3 inches with the standard setup.
